about mural
The mural Adgilis Deda (Georgian: ადგილის დედა) — literally, the "mother of locality"
or "place-mother", created by Belarusian artist, speaks of the feminine essence and depicts a woman associated with hope and love. The ancient Georgians believed that each place — mountain, hill, ravine — had a "mother" which they called the "place-mother".
Also, according to Georgian mythology,
in contrast to the Western myth, women are associated with the sun and men - with the moon. In the mural, this woman in her defensive position protects a man, signified by the moon, holding him close to her chest, which illustrates amulet power.

Meet the artist
It is difficult to limit Katya's imagination and her skillful hands to formats and directions, and she finds realization of her creativity not only in paintings.
Her work is the female images that grew with her and are the main inspiration for her whole life. And it all started with mermaids, princesses and fashion works with clothing collections, because Katya dreamed of becoming a clothing designer (and it's never too late!).
"I really cannot live without creativity. Now, after a break, it seems to have come out of oblivion. This is a very serious part of me."
