In August-September 2023, we implemented an online course "How to Create a Mural?" for artists and art managers.
It consisted of 10 online sessions with leading urban space curators and street artists.
Сourse topics included:
— Understanding placemaking and creating a sustainable project in urban space. — Exploring the social role of street art using examples from Brazil and Belarus. — Implementing murals on city walls: choosing locations, budgeting, fundraising, and obtaining approvals. — Post-production of murals: the mural's life cycle, public relations, and the ethics of street art. — Fundraising strategies for murals and other projects. — Street art and small-scale urbanism, creating authentic places and recognizing when it becomes inauthentic. — Understanding placemaking and creating a sustainable project in urban space.

Artist talks featured Belarusian street artists Vadik Fin, Hutka Smachna, Siarhei Rusak, and Dima Kashtalyan, who shared insights into their projects, experiences, styles, and techniques.
